01About us and these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply when you use aquadoir.com in the United Kingdom and to every order delivered to a UK address. They are an agreement between you and [UK COMPANY NAME], trading as Aquadoir ("Aquadoir UK", "we", "us"), a company registered in [ENGLAND AND WALES] with company number [UK COMPANY NUMBER], registered office [UK REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS], VAT number [UK VAT NUMBER]. Please read them, together with our Shipping & Delivery, Returns & Exchanges and Returns & Refunds policies, our Privacy Policy and our Cookies Policy, which form part of these Terms. They are written for consumers buying for personal use. If you do not agree with them, please do not place an order.

02Who can buy

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. You confirm that the details you give us, including your name, email, phone number and delivery address, are accurate. We sell to consumers for personal use, not for resale.

03Using our website

We give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use our website to browse and buy our products for your own use. You agree not to:

• use the website for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or place orders you do not intend to accept or pay for;
• copy, scrape or reuse our product images, videos, designs or text, or access the website with bots, crawlers or other automated tools;
• buy products in bulk for resale, or use several identities, addresses or payment methods to get around order limits or promo code terms;
• try to break, overload or get around the security of the website, our order system or the payment process, or change prices, stock or order details;
• send anything that is defamatory, obscene, infringing or misleading, or that contains viruses or harmful code;
• impersonate Aquadoir, our team or anyone else.

We may suspend access, cancel orders or refuse service if we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities. We will refund you in full for any order we cancel.

04Your account

You do not need an account to shop with us. If you create one:

• the details you give must be true and your own, and you should keep them up to date;
• keep your password private and do not share your account. If you think someone else knows your password, change it, use "Sign Out of All Devices" in My Account and tell us at care@aquadoir.com;
• you are responsible for orders placed through your account, unless someone else got into it without any fault of yours;
• you can delete your account at any time in My Account. We may suspend or close an account that is used for fraud or to break these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it. Closing an account does not cancel orders already placed or affect your rights over them.

How we use your account details is explained in our Privacy Policy.

05Products and descriptions

We take care to describe and photograph every piece accurately. Please keep in mind:

• Colour: colours can look slightly different depending on your screen and lighting.
• Measurements: our garments are cut and finished by hand, so measurements can vary slightly from the size chart. Please check our Size & Fit Guide before ordering.
• Natural character: dyes, prints and cotton can show small variations in shade, texture and print placement between pieces. These are part of the material and are not defects.
• Limited releases: many pieces are made in limited quantities. A piece is reserved for you only once your order is confirmed.
• Care: follow the care label and our product care guide. Damage from washing, drying or ironing against the care instructions is not a manufacturing defect.

Our pieces are made in India. Every product you buy must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires.

06Prices and VAT

• Prices for UK delivery are in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT. They are set specifically for the UK and are not a live conversion of another currency.
• The total price, including delivery, is shown before you pay. We never add mandatory charges after checkout, and there are no import charges to pay on delivery, even for pieces sent from our studio in India.
• Prices can change, but changes never affect an order that has already been confirmed.

If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price because of an error, we will contact you before dispatch and let you confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund. We will never charge more than the price you agreed without your permission.

07How the contract is formed

1. You place an order. When you press the button to place your order, you are offering to buy the pieces in your bag at the prices and on the terms shown.
2. We confirm it. We show a confirmation on screen and email you your order number. This is when the contract between us is formed. For online payments, the order is confirmed once the payment succeeds.
3. We dispatch it. We email you the tracking details once your parcel is on its way.

Your contract is with Aquadoir UK, including for any piece we send from our studio in India.

We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch, and will tell you why, if the piece or size has sold out, there is a pricing or listing error, we cannot deliver to your address, the payment cannot be verified, or we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or a breach of these Terms. If you have already paid, you receive a full refund. We may limit the quantity of a piece per customer, especially for limited releases, so that more people have a chance to buy.

08Payment

Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We accept the debit and credit cards shown at checkout. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them. Your bank may charge its own fees, which we do not control. Cash on Delivery is not available in the UK.

09Promo codes

• Promo codes must be applied before you place your order and cannot be added afterwards. Only one code can be used per order unless the offer says otherwise.
• Each code has its own conditions, such as an expiry date, a minimum spend, eligible products or a usage limit, shown with the code or when you apply it.
• Codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with other offers unless stated.
• If you return part of an order that used a promo code, the refund is adjusted as explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
• We may withdraw a code that is being misused, or cancel orders placed by abusing an offer.

10Delivery

We aim to dispatch every order within 48 hours. Evri Standard delivery takes 2 to 3 working days and is free on orders of £50 and above; Evri Next Day arrives the next working day. Unless we agree otherwise, we will deliver within 30 days of your order, and your order is our responsibility until it is delivered to you. Full details are in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

11Cancelling and returning

You have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason, and to a refund within 14 days of returning the goods. You can also cancel free of charge at any time before dispatch. Returns within the UK are free. How to send a piece back is in our Returns & Exchanges Policy, and refunds, with the model cancellation form, are in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

12If something is wrong

If a product is faulty, damaged or not as described, you have the rights set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015: a full refund within 30 days of delivery, and after that a repair, replacement or refund. We pay all postage for faulty items. See faulty, damaged or incorrect items.

13Intellectual property

Everything on this website, including the AQUADOIR name, the AQDO monogram, the アクアドワ katakana mark, our garment designs, graphics, prints, photographs, videos, text, layout and code, belongs to Aquadoir or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright, trade mark and design laws.

You may view and share our pages for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as sending a product link to a friend. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or sell our content, use our name, marks or designs for any commercial purpose, or make products that copy our designs, without our written permission. Buying a product does not give you any right to use our trade marks or designs.

14Reviews and content you share

If you send us reviews, photos, videos or feedback, or tag us on social media, you confirm that the content is your own, honest and lawful, and you give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to show it on our website and channels, with credit to you where practical. We will ask before featuring your photos or naming you, and you can ask us to remove your content at any time.

We publish genuine reviews only. We do not write, buy or reward fake reviews, and we do not hide or edit reviews because they are negative, in line with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024. We may remove content that is abusive, unlawful, off-topic or contains personal information.

15Our responsibility to you

If we break these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen, or if both of us knew it might happen when the contract was made. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses, as our products are for domestic and private use.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products, such as the right to receive goods that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

16Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, strikes, pandemics, government action, or carrier and customs disruption. If one affects your order, we will tell you and do what we can to minimise the delay. If there is a risk of substantial delay, you can cancel and receive a full refund for anything you have paid for but not received.

17Law and disputes

Please contact us first if something goes wrong; most problems can be solved quickly by email.

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can bring proceedings in Scotland, and Scots law applies to your rights; if you live in Northern Ireland, you can bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and Northern Irish law applies to your rights. Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) can give you free, impartial advice.

18General

• Changes to these Terms: we may update these Terms from time to time. The version on the website when you place an order applies to that order.
• If part is invalid: the rest of these Terms stays in force.
• No waiver: if we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
• Transfer: we may transfer our rights and obligations to another business, for example if Aquadoir is sold, and will tell you if that happens. Your rights as a customer will not be reduced. You may not transfer your rights without our consent.
• Whole agreement: these Terms, the policies they include and your order confirmation are the whole agreement between us about your order.
• Communication: we will contact you by email or phone using the details you give us. Emails count as written communication.
• Third parties: only you and we have rights under these Terms.
